Hong Kong Paintings in Sai Yuen Lane Exhibition

⼀新美術館於2024年遷館時舉辦了⾸屆“⻄源⾥選畫”計劃，向全香港藝術家公開徵求畫作。
計劃反應良好，成績令⼈⿎舞，因此決定將“⻄源⾥選畫”定為常設的雙年展活動，亦為本年
度的“⼀新沙⿓”展覽，將展覽廳化成藝術家交流場所。
第⼆屆“⻄源⾥選畫”展覽入選作品共118幅，展出藝術家共93⼈，展覽分兩期進⾏，以主題
劃分，第⼀期以城市景觀及⼈物為主，第⼆期為風景⼭⽔、動植物及抽象等主題。希望觀眾
在這些畫作中，能遇⾒未曾預料的觸動，也遇⾒這座城市⽣⽣不息的創作⼒。
第⼀期展覽已於2026年6⽉26⽇正式對外開放，免費入場。誠邀您蒞臨⼀新美術館參觀

Sun Museum launched the inaugural "Hong Kong Paintings in Sai Yuen Lane" Exhibition 
— an open call for paintings from artists across Hong Kong — when relocated to the new 
premises in 2024. The overwhelming response and encouraging results inspired the 
Museum to establish this exhibition as a permanent biennial event. It is also this year's 
"Sun Salon" programme, aiming to transform the Museum’s gallery into a space for artistic exchange.

A total of 118 works by 93 artists were selected for "The 2nd Hong Kong Paintings in Sai 
Yuen Lane" exhibition, which are held in two phases and exhibits are organised by theme: 
Phase I focuses on cityscapes and figures, while Phase II features landscapes, animals 
and plants, and abstraction. We hope that through these paintings, visitors will encounter 
unexpected moments of inspiration and witness the inexhaustible creative power of this 
city.

Phase I exhibition is opened to the public on 26 June 2026 with free admission. You are 
cordially invited to visit Sun Museum.
